Navitas Semiconductor Surges 18% on India GaN Breakthrough
Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS) shares rallied 18% to a record $19.93 after Cyient Semiconductors launched India's first gallium nitride power IC family using Navitas' technology. The partnership, initiated in December 2025, establishes local GaN production for AI infrastructure, electric vehicles, and fast-charging systems.
Cyient's seven new 650V-rated power devices mark a milestone for India's semiconductor industry. Needham analysts boosted their price target to $21 from $13, citing strong execution—Navitas' market cap now stands at $4.49 billion following an 868% annual gain.
